Accountant (Investments & Treasury Management)

1 x Permanent Full Time – 7hours, 5 days per week

You will be responsible for effectively managing cashflows, identifying opportunities and making strategic investments to maximise return on investment and ensuring Council funds are invested within the parameters of Council’s investment policy, Ministerial directives, and other legislation applicable to investments by local governments.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this position you will need to have:

• A degree in Accounting or Commerce
• Well-developed understanding of operational and technical aspects of funds management
• Demonstrated analytical ability to deal with high volume and complex financial information; and
• Ability to proactively engage and foster business partnering relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
