Process Accounts Payable for a business providing Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons across Victoria

About the role
The Accounts Payable Officer is a key member of the Finance & Support Team of GEO Healthcare and will play an integral role in the successful transition and delivery of Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons in Victoria.
Based at GEO Healthcare’s Head Office in Carlton, and reporting to the Accountant, you will be responsible for checking and processing creditors accounts in a timely manner. The role may also be required to provide support to the Accountant and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Finance Team.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in an accounts payable role.
- Appropriate understanding and skills in the use of Microsoft Office and software relevant to the role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational ability.
- Effective corporate communications skills.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to GEO Healthcare values.
Other Requirements of the role:
- Ability to work within a correctional setting
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
