Diverse group needs smart, independent proactive and experienced admin/accounts support (Contractor basis)
Accountant /Bookkeeper/Admin – is required for around 12 hours per week on for this diverse group. Mostly work from home with flexible hours as a contractor with an immediate start.
You would be required just once a fortnight to go to the office in St Kilda Road to check mail and file items as you assist us to drive as much online processing as possible.
The Group
The group is diverse and involved in different small businesses and property investments. You would be reporting to our Senior Accountant who also works remotely.
The Role
This is a varied and challenging role which can be worked over 3 days. Some typical duties will involve:
· Day to day bookkeeping (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, small Payroll, Invoicing)
· ASIC lodgements;
· Office organization – Filing online in google drive/Archiving
· Processing timely payments to suppliers;
· Sundry emails and correspondence with debtors, creditors etc;
· Assisting Senior Accountant in BAS lodgement, cash flow management, quarterly superannuation lodgement, Month end reporting as and when required;
· Advanced use of excel for dashboard reporting and financial analysis
· Other general administration and bookkeeping duties as seen fit.
A basic understanding of trusts and intercompany loans will be helpful.

The Candidate
For this role, we are seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
· Is well organised and thinks independently but acts as a team player
· Is familiar with XERO and MYOB
· Is professionally qualified and has at least 3 years’ experience
· Strong excel skills
· Comfortable with month end financial reporting
· Available to start quickly
· Also happy to put in for a range of bookkeeping and other accounting and admin tasks
Job Type: Subcontract
Salary: $51,081.11 – $70,000.00 per year
