About the role
Reporting to the Category Manager, this is an exciting opportunity where you’ll lead all phases of sourcing, including planning, analysing expenditures, identifying cost items, negotiating, and generating contracts.
This is a great development opportunity for the successful applicant to truly make the role their own as you’ll use your existing tools and methods in commercial and contract management to support the continuous improvement and standardisation of Lifeblood’s strategic sourcing processes. A day in the role will see you:
Identify on-going Contract based opportunities to reduce the TCO of products and services across the Lifeblood’s supply chain
Liaise with key stakeholders through the development and execution of contract negotiations and pricing strategies
Set sourcing and negotiations priorities to implement strategies, and address business and operational challenges
Monitor progress of strategies and changing business environment
Prepare and update a sourcing and contract pipeline report for future activities.
Document contract outcomes and governance approvals to ensure successful delivery
Create the required BPAs/CPAs templates for ease of buying and representing in Lifeblood’s Oracle Finance System.
Partner with operational management to identify cost savings through innovative procurement practices
Develop and review sourcing plans to support Procurement activities
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a hybrid work model of WFH and from our West Melbourne office (10 min walk from Southern Cross & Flagstaff station).
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:
Commercial management experience including contract management, contract reviews, commercial performance, and understanding of Agreement terms and conditions
Experience in developing and undertaking contract negotiations, pricing schedules and management plans.
Collaborative nature with a focus on building strong relationships
Ability to manage projects and establish clear goals, schedule, and documented outcomes
Experience managing multiple sourcing events simultaneously
Advanced systems skills and working knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge (able to create and manipulate pivot tables)
Demonstrated ability to use ERP software
