Account Broker – Entertainment Sector

Aon Affinity is looking for an Account Broker to service a portfolio of client accounts in the entertainment industry including musicians, performers, Film & TV companies, dance companies, Photographers, Event Managers and Event & Festival Promoters.

If you have insurance experience in public liability, business pack, general property and marine transit, as well as a passion for first class customer service and an interest in developing your insurance career, we would love to hear from you!

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and from our Aon office.

What the day will look like

Your day will be busy with a strong focus on client servicing and retention, which will be the key to your success!

You will be responsible for servicing, sales and administration responsibilities pertaining to client insurance policy renewals.

  • Account manage a wide range of SME clients within the Entertainment industry
  • Ensure all client needs are identified and met through proactive service delivery and account management
  • Manage a sales pipeline through inbound, warm and proactive leads
  • Retention of existing clients through superior customer service
  • Play a key role in client insurance policy renewal
  • Provide appropriate support of client financials including debt management, payment inquiries and settlements
  • Negotiate with insurers and clients on risks outside of underwriting guidelines

Skills and experience that will lead to success

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for client servicing and superior communication skills.

Additionally, you will relate to the following:
  • Experience managing and servicing a portfolio of client accounts – ideally in the insurance industry
  • A natural ability to build trust and strong relationships with clients
  • Sales mindset and comfortable providing solutions to clients
  • Underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience (highly regarded)
  • Experience across general insurance products (highly regarded)
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification/Diploma (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
