Dental Assistant - Training Provided

Amazing opportunity to kickstart your career in Dentistry. No prior experience is required but it would be an advantage if you have some customer service or hospitality experience.

Your role will involve assisting the dentists to be more efficient as well as supporting our patients and making their experience comfortable and safe. You will also be covering the front desk at various times and we will provide training for this. You will also be required to complete sterilisation tasks.

This is a challenging role where you will be required to think fast on your feet, learn quickly, be flexible and organised – so you can hit the ground running!

Dentistry is very much about teamwork as the care for our patients is paramount. Preparation and being well organised is what makes the difference to help create a smooth and stress free treatment. A calm environment helps everyone to stay as relaxed as possible. We are looking for you who can remain calm and steady when under pressure and who can empathise with our patients and make them feel understood.

Flagsmile Dental is a down-to-earth, family-owned dental practice, providing quality dental care for the families of Flagstone and beyond. Established in 2017, we were the first dental practice in the area, and offer a broad range of dental services. This includes everything from Invisalign, braces, Myobrace, whitening, implants, veneers, wisdom teeth removal, root canal treatment, dentures, white fillings, happy gas and more!

We have brand-new facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. Plenty of room for both personal and career growth.

The hours will be approximately 60 hours per fortnight, in accordance with the needs of the business. The role will start as casual and option to move into permanency will be given after a trial period. Please outline in your application what hours you are generally available to work.
