The Role
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program is seeking a versatile EL 2 to lead the ERP Operations Team in the day-to-day running of ERP. The role liaises with ERP Executives to make decisions for ERP operational activities, meet strategic goals and provide expert advice.

You will be responsibility for:

  • ERP Budgets and Finance Management.
  • ERP Integrated Workforce Management.
  • ERP Security.
  • ERP WHS, Facilities and Accommodation.
  • ERP Secretariat and committee coordination.
  • ERP Readiness.


About our Team
ERP is a large, multi-year, complex ICT program focused on standardising and integrating Defence’s finance, asset management, logistics, estate and human resource processes and systems to drive workforce efficiency and decision- making superiority. To enable this transformation, ERP will transition all applicable areas of the Department to a singular integrated SAP system.

ERP is working across Defence to deliver ICT capability, as part of a multidisciplinary team (which includes APS, ADF and full range of industry partners). Ultimately this is a high-profile position with the Senior Leadership, with the ERP playing a key role in helping deliver the Defence Transformation Strategy.

Our Ideal Candidate
Our successful candidate will need to bring a broad range of skills and knowledge, and service delivery to the role. The key element of the role is working with and negotiating with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve the day to day running of the Program.

You will need proven ability to lead and deliver:

  • Budgeting, contracting and procurement and financial management, preferable with Commonwealth resources.
  • Workforce management.
  • Security compliance.
  • WHS, Facilities and Accommodation across several location.
  • Oversee the ERP Secretariat.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
