The role:
As a Finance Analyst you will collaborate with the Finance Business Partner and provide financial and non-financial analysis and insight to Medibank’s enabling functions. This is a 6-month contingent contract opportunity.
Your impact:
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and broader team you will impact by:
Assisting with budget and forecast planning, monthly reporting and ensuring integrity of month end results.
Assisting with ad-hoc analysis including deep dives with an aim to provide richer insights to stakeholders.
Assist with financial modelling to support business cases and new initiatives.
Engaging with the business to regally monitor performance, assisting Senior Executives and Function Heads to deliver on their financial goals.
Your strengths and experience:
You have a minimum of two years’ experience in management accounting in a similar corporate environment. A natural communicator, you have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business. Your approach to work is proactive, and you are keen to step into a role where you can grow and learn the “why”.
You have demonstrated experience turning large disparate data into actionable management information and insights and have excellent written and verbal skills which you employ to communicate these insights.
Knowledge of SAP, General Ledger, Business Planning and Consolidation, Business Warehouse will be seen as highly desirable.
Your Qualifications:
You are degree qualified in either finance, statistical actual or a similar business related discipline, with CPA.
