IT Support Officer

Location: Hobart TAS

Unearthed Recruitment is currently seeking x2 IT Support Officers to work with one of our clients in the Hobart CBD area. Our client is a leading organisation in the property industry, and they are looking for IT Support Officers to join their team and provide support to their staff in various locations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing software, and configuring systems.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and other technology-related equipment.
• Respond to user requests for assistance and provide timely resolution to issues.
• Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are in place and functional.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
• Document and maintain IT inventory, software licenses, and other technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or related field.
• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
