Kitchen Hand Description

We are seeking skilled and reliable kitchen staff to join our team. As a member of the kitchen staff, you will assist the chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the chef in preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes.
• Follow recipes and quality standards to ensure consistency in food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices to ensure food quality and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the chef.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items as needed.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is preferred.

Front of House Staff Job Description:

Job Title: Front of House Staff Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking friendly and energetic front of house staff to join our team. As a member of the front of house staff, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Assist guests in making menu selections and taking orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area and restrooms.
• Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $24.18 – $26.13 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• KIAMA, NSW 2533: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
