MeS-1Utilizing proven professional expertise, competence and experience, the clinical Neurophysiology Scientist is responsible for the conduct of routine and more complex diagnostic activities resulting in the effective provision of diagnostic clinical neurophysiology services to the community.

MeS-2The Senior Medical Scientist, having attained greater specialist knowledge through appropriate professional development and operational experience, assists the Principal Medical Scientist in the timely and appropriate operational management of the clinical neurophysiology unit which results in the provision of a client centered diagnostic service. The incumbent is required to undertake diagnostic tests of a complex nature with reduced supervision, provide professional direction and support for MeS1 grades and contribute to service development activities.

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South’s Australia’s major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan area.

Our Statewide clinical services include BreastScreen SA, SA Pathology, SA Medical Imaging and SA Pharmacy. Community health services include SA Dental (including School Dental Services), SA Prison Health and Donate Life SA.
