PHYSIOTHERAPIST FLEXIBLE PART-TIME

Railway Road Medical Centre

SUMMARY

MY HEALTH HUB is seeking a physiotherapist who has a passion of utilising their skill set to help a person achieve their best health outcomes.

DESCRIPTION

MY HEALTH HUB is working with Railway Road Medical Centre. MY HEALTH HUB is seeking a Physiotherapist who has a passion of utilising their skill set to help a person achieve their best health outcomes. We believe that as Physios, we have a unique ability to make an impact on people’s lives rather than following the usual cookie-cutter rehab program.

This position is suited for someone looking for flexible part-time work with an opportunity to develop into a full-time role. We have a growing caseload with a current waitlist ready to commence treatment.

As we are a close team with a great community reputation, our patients are seeking a reliable and passionate approach to their treatment. The right applicant must be able to develop a good rapport with our patients and be willing to provide a more individualised plan which generally consists of manual therapy and a big emphasis on combined home exercise rehab.

My Health Hub is expanding, and we would love to have another Physio join our growing team!

What we offer:

  • Flexible days and hours – great work life balance.

  • Above market remuneration depending on experience.

  • Comprehensive introductory training and ongoing support from our director and senior physiotherapist.

  • Relaxed, friendly, and supportive working environment with an upbeat work culture.

  • Weekly team meetings and fortnightly mentoring sessions.

  • Opportunities to get involved with other caseloads such as Private and Workcover/CTP, treat within our medical clinics, or work alongside our community sporting teams.

  • Potential internal business opportunities.

  • Signing bonus.

This position is perfect for someone who:

  • Doesn’t want to be stuck in the same room all day.

  • Wants a fresh and active approach to impact people’s lives.

  • Looking for a flexible role with the opportunity to progress to full-time work.

Main duties of the role:

  • Providing physiotherapy treatment and assessments independently – includes exercise prescription, pain management, incident analysis.

  • Conducting initial assessments within medical centres and the patient’s home and develop an active, individualised treatment plan.

  • Reassessing patients to monitor progress and adjust their program as needed.

  • Simple admin tasks and session note writing.

We are looking for a physio with 1-2 years’ experience, however new graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration.

  • Drivers licence with own car.

  • Professional indemnity insurance.

  • Must be fully vaccinated.
