Description:
The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineers who are ideally familiar with RTIO processes and systems, with extensive rehab and civil experience!!!
Skills and Experiences:
Key skills for this role include:
- Define project scope/goals and deliverables providing engineering/technical support to the team.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Assist Project Manager to plan, execute and finalise project according to strict deadlines and work schedules.
- Provide direction to Supervisors.
- Assist in the acquisition of resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors.
- Manage QA/QC, claims, programming, permits and reporting.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Liaise with the Client and attend Client meetings continuously building a positive relationship.
- Generate work procedures, documents, plans etc… in collaboration with the HSEQ department.
Key personal capabilities for this role are:
- Qualification in engineering, construction and project management.
- 5 + years Mining/Civil experience working for a contractor.
- Current “C” class drivers’ licence.
- White/blue card.
- Experience in remote earthworks and rehab packages.
- Experience delivering independent packages.
- Experience with RTIO systems and processes.
- Strong safety focus.
- Hands on, flexible, dedicated, can do and teamwork attitude.
