About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic mental health clinician with a passion for engaging with clients in an acute setting and working within a multidisciplinary team environment to provide evidence, based interventions. The successful applicant will be a creative problem solver with the ability to contribute to the ongoing development of the service.

Where you’ll be working:
Western NSW Local Health District is at the forefront in the delivery of rural and remote Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol services across a catchment area of 400,000 square kilometres with regional centres – Dubbo, Orange and Bathurst – providing hubs for local and remote services.
Our vision is to be leaders in the delivery or these services to rural & remote people and we utilise a range of modalities and delivery options including virtual to provide our services.
With an early intervention and recovery focus, we place the person at the centre of care, considering individual strengths and valuing Aboriginal cultural competency in providing evidence based treatment. Wellington is the second oldest town west of the Blue Mountains and is located 350km from Sydney and is just over an hour from the picturesque town of Orange in the state’s Central West. The nearest Base Hospital is Dubbo Health Service, approximately 50km from the town.
