Senior Project Officer
State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning
The Industry Partnership Program is investing $350 million to continue to grow and create jobs across priority industry sectors such as advanced manufacturing, aerospace, biofutures, biomedical, defence, hydrogen, resource recovery, and space. The program will work with business and industry to tailor flexible incentives that facilitate cross-sectoral opportunities that unlock growth in multiple industries or supply chains and have a broad impact on the economy.
Your contribution
» Provide project facilitation and management support across the Emerging Industries Division, including for grant programs, by keeping track of enquiries, expressions of interest, applications and funded project milestones. This will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, a commitment to the accuracy and reliability of figures and an attention to detail
» Develop and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with clients, other government agencies, organisations and key regional stakeholders
» Providing support for the actions under the 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plans for Resource Recovery and Biofutures and the Five-Year Strategy for Hydrogen Industry Development and being aware of the opportunities for alignment between all three.
» Provide assistance with the completion of adhoc requests received by the Emerging Industries Division » Contribute positively to group activities including project planning and implementation, operational, organisational and service delivery improvement processes
» Contribute to effective industry engagement and communications activities for the Emerging Industries Division by using a variety of communication channels
» Prepare and coordinate timely, high quality and well-researched briefings, program papers, program reports, and responses to discussion papers, Cabinet submissions and correspondence. Provide advice on compliance with project, program and governance requirements
» Support the Directors and your team members in the Emerging Industries Division in achieving the outcomes for the Division
