As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring in a perfect blend of skillset, including hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the evolution of the product offering. You’ll turn your passion into reality. You’ll be working on building out capabilities/services in Content Services with a focus on Store, Secure, Archive & Destroy. Our content services domain is responsible for group-wide delivery of Document Management, Unstructured Data Intelligence and Document imaging systems that support and underpin Australia’s largest bank and lender.

You will work alongside a fantastic team of engineers, and highly invested managers focused on your career progression, and you will surely feel at home with us.

We are interested in hearing from people who:

  • Have passion for solving problems using software

  • Have good experience in software development within an agile/DevOps environment

  • Are ready to execute state-of-the-art coding practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives and minimise risks

  • Are capable to create both technology blueprints and engineering roadmaps, for a multi-year document management transformational journey

  • Can lead and drive a culture where quality, excellence and openness are championed

  • Constantly think outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex problems

Tech skills:

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these, or a willing to learn these skillsets (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team!

  • Good experience in Java or any other structured language

  • Experienced in scripting and APIs

  • AWS cloud and cloud patterns experience is desirable

  • Architecture principles, and building CI/CD pipelines

  • OpenText knowledge – Documentum and InfoArchive desirable but not a mandate
