Remuneration value up to $451 777 p.a. (L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $413 330 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements

Purpose of the role
As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Electrophysiologist with the Cardiology unit you will be a valuable and valued team member. You will work with the Clinical Director Cardiology, to ensure the Cardiology services we provide are of the highest standard and delivered safely, reliably and efficiently.
Your opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Electrophysiologist to facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16):
- measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
- varicella (chicken pox)
- pertussis (whooping cough)
- hepatitis B
- tuberculosis
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 (Health Employment Directive No. 12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
